Dr. Konstantinos Tsanis is a FinTech and Digital Transformation Specialist in the IFC. He is a seasoned Fintech expert with multiple industry level awards (‘’Finnovator of the year 2019’’, Multiple Digital Bank awards) and written work published in books, conferences, and both industry and mainstream publications (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Journal, The Guardian and more). He launched the first Digital Bank in Africa as Chief Innovation and Data Officer in WEMA Bank, enabled funding for the highest funded FinTech in the Middle East (Bayzat), developed the most comprehensive SME lending platform in the Middle East (Thomson Reuters), facilitated Fin Tech investments and market development for Bloomberg. Dr. Tsanis is also a PhD holder in Financial technology from the University of Edinburgh (Stephen Cooke Scholar).
